Robin Van Persie Scores a Hattrick!
Arsene Wenger must surely be happy with his team today after winning Blackburn comfortably. The game ended with the scoreline of 7-1. It was an entertaining match and started with a goal barely 2 minutes into the game and of course it was Persie who scored a rather easy goal after a perfect pass from Theo Walcott. Blackburn managed to draw with a goal directly from a free kick. However, after Persie scored again Blackburn didn't stand a chance and it was just a question of how many goals the vigilant Arsenal team could score. Robin Van Persie got himself 3 goals today which, to my knowlegde, gives him a total of 22 Premier League goals this season. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored his first goal for Arsenal today, getting another soon after. The team played well and got a good number of decent chances in the game which could have easely ended with a few more goals. Thierry Henry was substituted in for Chamberlain around the 70'th minute of the game and scored a goal after good play between himself and Persie to finish the match. All-in-all a good day for Arsenal who now, with the win, sit in 5th place in the Premier League table. The same can not be said about Blackburn who are stuck in the 19'th place in the table.

Manchester City have finally lost Back-2-Back games this season. After an entertaining match against Manchester United last week and a 1-0 loss to Liverpool in the FA Cup where they underachieved and didn't put in the level of performance to see off Liverpool. They will now have to pick up where they left off last year and go to Anfield to win if they want another chance at winning the FA Cup.
